Adam Rennison

Adam Rennison, FSA, FCIA

Adam is a consulting actuary with over 12 years of experience  specializing in pension and investment related matters.  He consults on retirement plan issues to boards of trustees of multiemployer and negotiated cost pension plans.  Adam has particular expertise in dealing with pension plan mergers, the development of risk-mitigating investment policies and the design of pension benefits in a negotiated contribution environment.

Adam has worked with PBI since its inception in February 2008.  From 2000 until PBI’s formation, he worked with Watson Wyatt  Worldwide in their pension practice.

Adam is a member of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.  In addition to his membership in the IFEBP, he is a faculty member for the Advanced Trustee Management Standards program (ATMS) where he teaches a portion of the course on Effective Governance in Funding and Investment Policies.

Adam graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics , with a major in Actuarial Science.  He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries  and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
